Job Description

Operate packaging and labeling equipment that seals packaged poultry while taking into consideration quality and food safety.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Capable of operating equipment that seals and labels product.
• Retain information concerning packed poultry (i.e. item number, label type, etc.)
• Ability to safely operate packaging equipment/familiar with lockout/tag out or similar safety procedures.
• Meet company standards and customer specifications.
• Must adhere to USDA Safety and Sanitation Regulations for food safety requirements
• Work in a refrigerated environment 35°F- 45°F
• Complete miscellaneous other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education/Training: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Incumbent must have the ability to work in a fast paced production environment. Must be able to read and understand cut tickets and packing instructions. Finish time is when work is completed and could require overtime with or without notice.

Preferred Related Experience:
Prior experience using Multivac sealing equipment or Biezerba labeling machinery.
Prior experience working in a production or warehouse environment.

25-50lbs (Medium): Frequently
