Job Description

Hw Staffing is partnering with a manufacturing company in Scarborough, ME. The Glue Operator position is 40 to 50 hours a week, 6:50 am to 3:00 pm and primarily packs product from the production line, hand strip scrap material from loads, perform quality checks, and labels cartons.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Hand pack product off production lines
• Make labels/label cartons
• Perform all quality processes
• Work in a safe manner
• Must follow all safety procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping standards
• Move loads of product to gluers
• Setup/prepare tape machine during set-ups
• Hand strip scrap off of units
• Performs other duties as required


 

 

Job Requirements

EXPERIENCE/REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Must be able to work on your feet
• Must be quality conscious
• Must be able to work independently
• Must be highly safety conscious.

Education: High school diploma/ GED

SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE: Experience with basic date entry.

TOP 3 MUST HAVES:
Critical eye for quality
Ability to read/understand both job order specifications and Plant Safety Rules
Reliable Transportation – must be able to manage scheduled hours
