We are looking for Group Leads to work in a manufacturing setting that have at least 2 years of prior manufacturing experience in a medical setting. 

 

May directly supervises employees in the Production Department (work cells/teams). Carry out

supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities could include interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, and

directing work; providing input on appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving

problems.

Oversees and coordinates the work of employees in a specific production area

Promotes a positive team environment focused on success of the production team goals.

Trains new employees and current employees being cross trained within a specific

production area.

Enhances productivity by finding inefficiency and recommending solutions

Works as a team player seeking the advice of and lending advice to other team players

Works closely with the Production manager and Supervisor to ensure all production

objectives are met or exceeded

Improves production process as part of a team (safety, scrap, productivity and

downtime).

Provides objective input for performance evaluations of the team members in a specific

area

Job Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of

education and experience.

2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.

Prior experience utilizing GMP practices/techniques.

BG/DT Required
