HR Generalist
Job Description
We’re seeking a hands-on HR Generalist (TEMP) to support a fast-paced manufacturing site in Fall River, MA. This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who enjoys employee interaction, process coordination, and supporting daily HR operations in a regulated environment.
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee HR questions
- Support employee relations documentation, attendance tracking, and policy compliance
- Assist with recruiting activities including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communication
- Coordinate onboarding, pre-hire paperwork, background checks, and new hire orientation
- Support intern and trainee program logistics and tracking
- Enter and audit HR transactions (hires, terminations, changes, leaves of absence)
- Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data
- Generate basic HR reports and support compliance documentation
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- 3–5 years of HR experience (manufacturing environment a plus)
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Professional communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively
- On-site role in a manufacturing/plant setting
- Occasional extended hours or weekends as needed
- Ability to wear required PPE
- Light lifting up to 15 lbs
