HVAC Technician
Job Description
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including air conditioners, furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, and ventilation systems.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, explaining technical issues and solutions.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician is highly preferred.
- Valid HVAC certification (e.g., EPA Universal, NATE) is a strong asset.
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed an HVAC apprenticeship program.
- Solid understanding of HVAC principles, electrical systems, and refrigeration cycles.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
