Job Description

Retort Associate – Heavy Lifter 
We are hiring a Heavy Lifter for the Retort Department in a food processing facility. This is a physically demanding role in a hot environment, requiring stamina, basic math skills, and the ability to tell time. Flexibility and reliability are essential, as shift end times may vary.
Position Details:
  • Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
  • Shift: 1st Shift or mid-afternoon Shift
  • Schedule: Monday through Saturday (must be available to work up to 6 days/week)
  • Saturday availability is required
Job Requirements:
  • Must be capable of heavy lifting in a hot, physically demanding environment
  • Ability to tell time and perform basic math is required
  • Must report by 8:00 AM on the first day to take and pass a comprehensive test
  • Must have flexible availability due to variable end times
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to the schedule are essential
