Restaurant Host / Busser / Waitstaff
Location: Brookfield, CT
Schedule: Flexible; days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Pay: Competitive hourly wage
Position Summary
We are seeking friendly, energetic, and dependable individuals to join our restaurant team as a Host / Busser / Waitstaff. In this versatile role, you'll help create an outstanding dining experience by welcoming guests, maintaining a clean and organized dining room, and providing excellent support to both customers and fellow team members. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
  • Greet guests with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude.
  • Seat guests promptly while managing the waitlist during busy periods.
  • Answer phone calls and assist with reservations and guest inquiries.
  • Clear, clean, and reset tables quickly and efficiently.
  • Refill water, beverages, napkins, and other table necessities as needed.
  • Assist servers with food delivery, table maintenance, and guest requests.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dining room, lobby, restrooms, and service areas.
  • Stock service stations with necessary supplies throughout the shift.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with the restaurant team to ensure excellent guest satisfaction.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support daily restaurant operations.
Qualifications
  • Previous restaurant or customer service experience is preferred but not required—we are happy to train motivated individuals.
  • Friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Reliable, dependable, and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds throughout the shift.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
