Hot From Operator
Job Description
Location: Ogden, UT 84404
Type: Temp-to-Perm (600+ hours)
Pay: $19.00/hr + 12% shift differential
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM – 1:00 AM
Training: First day on 1st shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Prep and load dies into hot form furnaces according to specified procedures.
- Adjust and monitor furnace temperature.
- Prepare material sheets and place them into hot form furnaces in proper location.
- Monitor temperature, tonnage, pressure, and time according to job specifications.
- Remove parts from furnace and inspect for flaws, imperfections, and dimensions using measuring instruments, templates, overlays, gauges, visual inspection, or other methods.
- Operate multiple hot form furnaces simultaneously.
- Clean dies during runs to remove pits, dirt, and other debris.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Able to read, understand, and follow written work instructions and blueprints.
- Proficient in the use of precision measuring tools (micrometers, dial indicators, etc.).
- 1–2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Candidates may be required to train on 1st shift for an initial period (no shift differential during training).
- Must be able to meet all pre-employment screening requirements.
