Job Title: Senior Electronic Assembler
Location: Alpharetta, GA
 Pay Rate: $24 – $28 per hour
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Electronic Assembly Technician with strong microscope soldering experience to join our manufacturing team in Alpharetta, GA. This role involves performing a wide range of electronic and electro-mechanical assembly operations in a cross-functional production environment.
This is a fully proficient, hands-on position requiring the ability to interpret technical documentation, follow detailed work instructions, and execute precision assembly tasks with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complex electronic and electro-mechanical assembly, including microscope soldering, wiring, and component installation
  • Assemble units using hand tools, torque wrenches, and automated production equipment
  • Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
  • Conduct cable harnessing and hand soldering operations to meet quality and performance standards
  • Set up and adjust equipment while maintaining tight tolerances per specifications
  • Follow defined processes to ensure consistent product quality and efficiency
  • Identify and resolve routine assembly issues within established procedures
  • Support cross-training initiatives and assist team members as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation and basic system updates within ERP or related systems
Typical Work Environment
  • Manufacturing setting with a variety of products and cross-training opportunities
  • Bench-based mechanical and electronic assembly work
  • Use of microscopes, hand tools, and torque equipment
  • Supervised environment during initial training, transitioning to more independent work
Qualifications
Required (Must-Haves):
  • Microscope soldering experience (required)
  • Strong mechanical assembly background
  • Experience using torque wrenches and hand tools
  • Ability to read and follow technical drawings and written instructions
  • Basic computer skills (ERP systems experience preferred)
  • Strong communication skills
Preferred (Nice-to-Haves):
  • Experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing environments
Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 6+ years of relevant experience, OR
  • Associate’s Degree with 2+ years of related experience
Additional Details
  • Works under limited supervision with minimal oversight
  • May serve as a resource to other team members
  • Moderate complexity role requiring sound judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Team size: Approximately 8 members
  • Ability to lift up to 10 lbs as needed
