Job Description

Job Title: Clamp Operator (Clamp Truck Driver)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Clamp Operator to join our warehouse team. This role involves operating a forklift with a hydraulic clamp attachment to move, load, and store large, unpalletized materials such as paper rolls, appliances, and other bulk items. The ideal candidate has strong equipment handling skills and a commitment to safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a clamp truck to safely lift, move, and stack large or delicate materials
  • Adjust clamp pressure to prevent product damage during handling
  • Load and unload trailers efficiently, including use of double clamp when applicable
  • Stage and organize materials in designated warehouse areas
  • Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track and manage inventory
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and report any issues
  • Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
  • Assist with general warehouse duties including order picking and inventory counts
Qualifications
  • Previous clamp truck / forklift experience required
  • Experience handling large, unpalletized materials preferred
  • Familiarity with WMS or inventory systems a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
