Job Description

We are seeking qualified handwork employees for a manufacturing facility in Rockwell, NC. This Production Associate position will last at least one month, with the possibility of temp - to - perm status for the successful candidate. These are FIRST shift opportunities with some possible overtime.

The Details
Hours: first shift, 7am - 3:30pm
Pay: $15/hour

What You'll Be Doing
Handwork associates will complete a variety of duties that can vary day to day, and will rotate within the day. You will assemble materials, including cardboard and foam, glue and staple items, sort, pack and prepare materials for shipment. You might operate small hand tools or power tools to complete these tasks. You will will be responsible for:
  • Adherence to all safety rules, regulations, and procedures
  • Adherence to all company policies and procedures
  • Reliable attendance without unscheduled absences or tardiness
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Following work orders and specifications
  • Entering information into computer software for recordkeeping as needed
  • Cooperation with coworkers and teammates to complete projects on time
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the work area

What We Are Seeking
  • Previous manufacturing experience, especially with assembly
  • Physical stamina and strength to stand for an 8 hour shift, use hands for assembly, bend, squat, and lift up to 30 pounds
  • Demonstrated reliability with previous work history
  • Willingness to wear steel/composite toe footwear from day 1 of work, all other PPE provided
  • Ability to pass criminal background checks and drug screening
  • Ability to communicate with basic reading and speaking English
