second shift stacker
Job Description
- Production & Packing: Stacks and packs products onto pallets according to specific criteria. Workers lift 5–10 lbs per pass, repeating this motion up to 3,000 times per shift.
- Quality Control: Performs visual inspections and uses measurement tools to ensure all products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
- Logistics & Support: Finishes pallets for transport, uses pallet jacks to move skids, and assists other operators with strapping and order coordination.
- Documentation: Completes necessary paperwork for production tracking, product identification, and quality logs.
- Maintenance: Maintains a clean and safe workspace by sweeping, removing debris, and
- clearing scrap material.
- Physical & Performance Requirements
- Pacing: Must keep up with the speed of the production line; workers decide how many pieces to lift at once to maintain efficiency.
- Endurance: Capability to handle repetitive lifting and long periods of standing.
- Safety: Mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and active participation in hazard recognition.
- Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Prior experience in production or assembly is preferred.
- Core Competencies: Strong time management, integrity, energy, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
