IT Integration Technician
Job Description
Pay Rate: $23.00 - $25.00/hour
- Configure and build customer server systems and network hardware.
- Install components, update firmware, and perform BIOS, RAID, UEFI, OS, and out-of-band management configurations.
- Rack, cable, and label servers, switches, and related equipment.
- Perform operating system installations and maintain accurate documentation.
- Test hardware and peripherals to ensure quality and performance standards are met.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical support requests.
- Travel to customer locations for installations and support, including occasional overnight travel.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend support.
- Stay current with evolving technologies and industry best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management.
- Customer-focused with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently or as part of a team.
- Comfortable working under pressure and managing changing priorities.
- Professional attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- CompTIA A+ or other IT certifications are a plus.
- Experience configuring servers, networking equipment, or enterprise hardware is preferred.
- Willingness to travel and participate in an on-call support rotation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable standing, walking, climbing, and working in data center environments for extended periods.
- Ability to work with computer hardware requiring close attention to detail and manual dexterity.
