Job Description

The Injection Mold Operator tends to and operates injection molding presses, including processing, cleaning, and maintenance. The Injection Mold Operator retrieves parts as molded from machine and processes in accordance with procedures, including removing gates, deburring, trimming, drilling, or other processing operations.  The Injection Mold Operator also inspects components to organizational acceptance criteria to ensure no discrepant material is passed to subsequent processes. In addition, the Injection Mold Operator records, maintains, and properly store accurate data during production, including total shot counts, scrap quantities, and defect types.

 

We are offering $18.00 per hour, operating on 1st shift 6:00am-2:00pm.

 

 

Job Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years injection molding operator experience
  • Recent manufacturing experience
  • Understanding of basic math concepts (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication)
  • Ability to use basic measuring tools: calipers, height gauges, comparison charts, etc.
  • Able to communicate effectively with coworkers and management
