Job Description

Are you an experienced inspector with a strong eye for detail and a passion for precision? We are seeking a Inspector to join our team and ensure the highest standards of quality in mechanical and electronic assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform precision mechanical inspections using tools like calipers, micrometers, height gauges, gauge blocks, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and more.
  • Conduct visual inspections of electronic assemblies using microscopes and magnifiers.
  • Perform first article inspections and generate detailed reports when required.
  • Communicate discrepancies clearly to Supplier Quality Engineers/Technicians (SQE/SQT).
  • Independently perform source inspections at local supplier locations.
  • Maintain accurate records and documents in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Identify equipment needs for tasks requiring new or custom metrology tools.
  • Evaluate and nominate Dock to Stock (DTS) candidates per established procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with buyers, planners, engineers, and program leadership.
  • Support routine supplier audits as needed.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 6 years of relevant experience, OR
  • Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with maintaining records and documents according to policies and procedures.
  • IPC-A-610 Certification.
  • Hexagon CMM certification with PC-DMIS software experience.
  • Experience programming Keyence Vision systems.
  • Expertise in optical lens inspection.
