Inspector – OEM (2nd Shift)
Job Description
Type: Temp-to-Perm
Pay Rate: $21.53/hr + 15% shift differential (after training) $24.76hr. after training
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM
Training: 1st Shift (no shift differential during training)

- Perform routine checks, tests, gauging, and instrument inspections on materials, in-process parts, and finished goods
- Conduct visual inspections to identify obvious defects
- Compare inspection results against established company quality standards
- Accurately record inspection results on forms, charts, or logs and report defect counts
- Interpret and follow blueprints, operation sheets, and inspection procedures
- Use standard measuring equipment including micrometers, indicators, calipers, and height gauges
- Perform lifting of materials of varying weights, both assisted and unassisted
- Maintain attention to detail while working in a production and MRO environment
- 1–2 years of experience as an Inspector and/or NDT Technician
- Comfortable working with standard inspection and measuring tools
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical documentation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently on 2nd shift
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- All candidates must pass FAA DOT drug screening prior to start
- Training is required on 1st shift (Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
- First day start time: 8:30 AM
- Training may last up to 3 months
- No shift differential is paid during the training period
- Shift differential applies only after transition to 2nd shift
