Instrument Technician
Milford, MA 

Are you mechanically inclined and enjoy working with precision equipment? We're seeking an Instrument Technician to join a growing team responsible for restoring, testing, and calibrating sophisticated laboratory instruments. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work in a clean, professional environment.

Responsibilities
  • Disassemble, clean, reassemble, and test laboratory instruments and components
  • Perform testing and calibration using Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Inspect components to ensure quality and performance standards are met
  • Assist with inventory, shipping, and internal logistics
  • Operate pallet jacks and other lifting equipment as needed
  • Accurately document work performed and follow established processes
Qualifications
  • Experience assembling, disassembling, or repairing mechanical or electronic equipment preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, drawings, and SOPs
  • Comfortable using hand tools and technical equipment
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software
  • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Ability to travel overnight occasionally
