Instrument Technician
Job Description
- Disassemble, clean, reassemble, and test laboratory instruments and components
- Perform testing and calibration using Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Inspect components to ensure quality and performance standards are met
- Assist with inventory, shipping, and internal logistics
- Operate pallet jacks and other lifting equipment as needed
- Accurately document work performed and follow established processes
- Experience assembling, disassembling, or repairing mechanical or electronic equipment preferred
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, drawings, and SOPs
- Comfortable using hand tools and technical equipment
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Ability to travel overnight occasionally
