Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Inventory Coordinator/Materials Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, conducting inspections, and ensuring accuracy in our materials tracking systems. This position requires a candidate who is a Permanent Resident or US Citizen due to government contracting requirements.


  1. Utilize both high-powered and low-power scopes for inspecting materials and inventory items.
  2. Effectively navigate SAP systems for inventory management, data entry, and reporting.
  3. Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain accurate records of stock levels, including reconciling discrepancies and performing cycle counts.
  4. Assemble kits as needed, following detailed instructions and ensuring accuracy in component selection.
  5. Operate machinery for various assembly and inventory-related tasks, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  6. Perform quality control checks on incoming and outgoing materials, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate inventory movements and ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
  8. Generate reports on inventory levels, consumption rates, and other relevant metrics as required.
  9. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the inventory storage areas, optimizing space utilization and accessibility.
  10. Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in inventory management.

Job Requirements

  1. Proficiency in operating both high-powered and low-power scopes for inspection purposes.
  2. Hands-on experience with SAP systems for inventory management and data entry.
  3. Strong background in inventory management practices and techniques.
  4. Previous experience in kitting assembly or a related field is highly desirable.
  5. Ability to operate machinery and tools safely and effectively.
  6. Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  7. Detail-oriented with strong numerical aptitude for accurate counting and record-keeping.
  8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  9. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and work independently with minimal supervision.
  10. Must be a Permanent Resident or US Citizen to meet government contracting requirements.
  11. BG/DT Required
  12. HS Diploma/GED Equivalent Required
