Job Title: Inventory Management Associate
Location: State College, PA
Pay Rate: $20–$22 per hour
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inventory Management Associate to support warehouse operations in State College, PA. This role combines hands-on material handling with administrative responsibilities, including shipment tracking and customer communication. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Work Environment
  • Receiving warehouse and small open loading dock area
  • Combination of standing bench work and shared cubicle space
  • Small, collaborative team environment (team of 3)
Key Responsibilities
  • Receive incoming shipments and unload materials from trucks (up to 32 lbs)
  • Repackage and prepare materials for shipment to various worksites
  • Verify purchase orders (POs) using company systems
  • Track shipments and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Respond to customer emails and provide shipment updates
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety standards
  • Support multiple projects as needed
Qualifications
Required (Must-Have)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant warehouse experience OR
    Associate degree with 0–2 years of related experience
  • Hands-on experience in a warehouse environment
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred (Nice-to-Have)
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems
  • Familiarity with inventory control software
  • Knowledge of hazardous material shipping
  • 49 CFR and/or IATA certification
Soft Skills
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Strong work ethic and integrity
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a small team
  • Dependable and adaptable
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 32 lbs regularly
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods
  • Ability to work in a warehouse and loading dock setting
