Job Title: Inventory & Operations Support  
Location: Tempe, Arizona
Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM 

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory & Operations Support Associate to assist with a department relocation and reorganization project. This role focuses on organizing inventory, updating and maintaining data records, labeling and tracking parts, and supporting general workspace organization. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and comfortable working with data entry systems and inventory processes in a structured, climate-controlled office environment.

Work Environment
  • Indoor, climate-controlled cubicle environment
  • Team of approximately 10 members
  • Project-based work supporting departmental relocation and reorganization
  • Focus on recategorizing, organizing, and relocating small parts and materials

Key Responsibilities
Inventory Organization
  • Group items by part numbers and place them into appropriate bins
  • Enter part numbers and related information into the Master Inventory List (MIL)
  • Print labels and tag items/bins based on entered data
  • Identify and document discrepancies, unknown information, or missing vendor/manufacturer details
  • Communicate shortages of storage supplies as needed
  • Coordinate with maintenance technicians to group parts appropriately
  • Prepare organized parts for relocation and tracking
Location & Count Data Entry
  • Label inventory locations with proper identifiers or codes
  • Move through shelving systems bin-by-bin to record location data in MIL for barcoded parts
  • Log inventory counts accurately for each part
  • Mark inventory locations as locked and controlled once verified
  • Coordinate with MVP Administrator for data imports
General Cleaning & Organization
  • Dust shelves and bins
  • Sweep floors and maintain tidy work areas
  • Break down boxes and manage general trash removal

Typical Workday
Daily work includes organizing parts, entering and verifying inventory data, labeling storage areas, relocating items, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace to support an efficient relocation project.

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 0–3 years of related experience
  • Strong data entry and database management skills
  • Basic inventory management knowledge
  • Experience performing cycle counts
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to collaborate with technicians and cross-functional team members

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with mechanical parts or components
  • Microsoft Excel experience
  • Associate (2-year) degree
