We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Laboratory Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting chemical and physical laboratory tests, performing qualitative analysis of materials, liquids, and gases. Additionally, the Senior Laboratory Technician may be required to set up laboratory equipment and instrumentation necessary for tests, research, or process control.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct chemical and physical laboratory tests according to established procedures and protocols.
• Perform qualitative analysis of materials, liquids, and gases to determine their composition and properties.
• Set up laboratory equipment and instrumentation required for tests, research, or process control.
• Record and interpret data accurately, maintaining detailed records of experiments and results.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines in the laboratory environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues and team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize laboratory processes.
• Assist in the development of new testing methods and procedures.
• Train and mentor junior laboratory technicians as needed.
• Keep abreast of developments in laboratory techniques, equipment, and technology.

• Diploma or degree at the Associate or Bachelor level in a relevant field (e.g., chemistry, biology, or a related discipline).
• Minimum of 1+ years of experience working in a laboratory setting, preferably in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of chemical and physical laboratory techniques and procedures.
• Proficiency in operating laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant laboratory environment.
• BG/DT Required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
• Familiarity with quality control processes and procedures.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM).
