Job Description

QUALITY – Lead Inspector
 
Ideal candidate will have:
 
  1. At least 5 years’ experience in manufacturing, screw machine environment helpful with an attention to detail.
  2. Able to work closely with all disciplines in that environment.
  3. Production environment - draw inspection samples from CNC Screw machines and clean samples for inspect.
  4. Proficient with all mechanical gauging and comparator usage.
  5. CMM and/or Optical Equipment experience a plus.(PC- DMIS)
  6. Geometric Tolerancing experience is a must.
  7. Able to perform first article and set up inspections.
  8. Able to read mechanical drawings.
  9. Guide and train new inspectors as needed.
  10. Keen attention to detail especially with respect to documentation.
  11. Manage internal/external calibration using Gage Trak software.
  12. Proficiency with Excel is a plus.
  13. Hours: 10hr days (flexible). Monday- Thursday, 
Friday for Overtime as needed.
