Cell Lead Job Description 
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate activities of production workers within the assigned cell.
  • Ensure team compliance with safety policies, quality standards, and production schedules.
  • Monitor workflow and adjust assignments as needed to meet daily targets.
  • Train and mentor new and existing team members on processes and procedures.
  • Inspect work to verify conformance to specifications and report non-conformances.
  • Ensure proper documentation of production data, downtime, and shift handoffs.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment (5S standards).
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required technical training or certification preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment; leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of production processes, quality systems, and safety standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and instructions.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Required to operate machinery or hand tools.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for long periods, walk, bend, reach, and lift to 50 lbs.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
