Location: Londonderry, NH
Pay Rate: $27–$28 per hour
Work Environment: Bench area within the Receiving room
About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled Inspection Associate to join our quality team and support a variety of precision inspection projects. In this role, you’ll work hands-on with a wide range of metrology tools, inspection equipment, and electronic assemblies to ensure top-tier product quality. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, technicians, and suppliers, and play a key role in identifying issues early, improving processes, and keeping programs on track.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform precision mechanical inspections based on dimensioned drawings using tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, gage blocks/pins, surface plates, toolmakers microscopes, optical comparators, CMMs, and other standard equipment.
  • Conduct visual inspections of electronic assemblies using microscopes and magnifiers.
  • Complete First Article Inspections (FAI) and create detailed reports as required.
  • Communicate discrepancies verbally and through written reports to Supplier Quality Engineers/Technicians (SQE/SQT).
  • Independently perform source inspections at local suppliers.
  • Participate in MRB meetings and support SQE/SQT teams when needed.
  • Maintain accurate and organized inspection records per company procedures.
  • Flag equipment needs and recommend new or custom metrology tools when required.
  • Identify Dock-to-Stock (DTS) candidates and present nominations to the SQE team.
  • Partner with buyers, planners, design engineers, manufacturing engineers, quality engineers, and program leadership to support ongoing projects.
  • Support supplier audits alongside SQE/SQT as necessary.
  • Use computers daily to manage files, documentation, and reporting.
Must-Have Qualifications (Hard Skills)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and
    • 6+ years of relevant inspection experience or
    • 2-year technical/Associates degree with 2+ years of related experience
  • Strong ability to interpret drawings/blueprints
  • Hands-on experience with inspection tooling such as gauges, calipers, micrometers
Nice-to-Have Qualifications (Hard Skills)
  • Experience maintaining records and documents per quality procedures
  • IPC-A-610 Certification
  • Hexagon CMM certification (PC-DMIS software)
  • Keyence Vision System programming experience
  • Optical lens inspection experience
Must-Have Soft Skills
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate with engineers and technicians
  • Ability to work independently when needed
  • Self-motivated with strong initiative
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
