Job Description
Location: Malabar, FL
Pay Rate: $22–$25/hour (DOE)
- Perform precision soldering, assembly, alignment, and testing of electronic parts and subassemblies per J-Standard and IPC-610 guidelines.
- Work with engineers on setup, calibration, troubleshooting, and process improvements.
- Conduct rework and quality testing to ensure all finished products meet operational and cosmetic standards.
- Use data collection programs to monitor equipment performance and perform on-line adjustments as needed.
- Identify and report issues, suggesting process improvements when appropriate.
- Maintain compliance with all safety, ESD, and PPE requirements on the production floor.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 4+ years of relevant experience, or 2 years post-secondary/Associate degree with 0–2 years related experience.
- J-Standard and IPC-610 Certifications (required).
- Proven soldering skills – a soldering test will be administered during the interview.
- Experience with small hand tools and torque tools (manual and automated).
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
- Previous production or electronic rework experience.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Production floor environment, primarily benchwork.
- Must adhere to safety and PPE standards.
- Moderate supervision with peer collaboration encouraged.
