Title: Electronics Soldering Technician
Location: Malabar, FL
Pay Rate: $22–$25/hour (DOE)
Position Overview
We’re seeking a skilled Electronics Soldering Technician II to join our production team in Malabar, FL. In this role, you’ll be hands-on with precision soldering, assembly, calibration, and testing of electronic components, subassemblies, and systems. Working closely with engineers, you’ll help ensure high-quality manufacturing processes, compliance with industry standards, and efficient product flow on the production floor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform precision soldering, assembly, alignment, and testing of electronic parts and subassemblies per J-Standard and IPC-610 guidelines.
  • Work with engineers on setup, calibration, troubleshooting, and process improvements.
  • Conduct rework and quality testing to ensure all finished products meet operational and cosmetic standards.
  • Use data collection programs to monitor equipment performance and perform on-line adjustments as needed.
  • Identify and report issues, suggesting process improvements when appropriate.
  • Maintain compliance with all safety, ESD, and PPE requirements on the production floor.
Qualifications
Required:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience, or 2 years post-secondary/Associate degree with 0–2 years related experience.
  • J-Standard and IPC-610 Certifications (required).
  • Proven soldering skills – a soldering test will be administered during the interview.
  • Experience with small hand tools and torque tools (manual and automated).
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred:
  • Previous production or electronic rework experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
Work Environment
  • Production floor environment, primarily benchwork.
  • Must adhere to safety and PPE standards.
  • Moderate supervision with peer collaboration encouraged.
