Job Description

HW Staffing is hiring a Logistics Manager in Mapleville, RI, to work for a leading supplier of gourmet food products.

 

A logistics manager will lead all logistics operations for Rhode Island and third-party locations. Develop and lead the implementation of processes designed to fulfill KPIs and lead indicators while managing the daily activities of the logistics team and processes. In addition, the Logistics Manager will schedule and oversee the logistics team to meet the organization's demands, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in a logistics focused role
  • Proficient knowledge of logistics and transportation best practices and procedures

Nice to have:

  • Advanced degree in the supply chain, business, or engineering
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
