Job Description

Job Title: Maintenance & Facilities Manager

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance & Facilities Manager to lead maintenance operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of manufacturing equipment and facility systems while guiding a skilled maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of CNC machines, manual equipment, assembly systems, and facility infrastructure
  • Provide technical leadership on electrical systems including PLCs, VFDs, motor controls, and sensors
  • Manage preventive maintenance programs and CMMS/work order systems
  • Diagnose recurring equipment issues and implement long-term corrective solutions
  • Oversee facility systems including HVAC, boilers, compressed air, wastewater treatment, and electrical distribution
  • Train and support maintenance staff while coordinating vendors and contractors
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and enforce safety and environmental standards
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 8–10 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment with leadership responsibility
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with PLC systems and industrial controls
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
  • Experience with CMMS systems (JDE a plus)
  • Wastewater Treatment Certification preferred
Physical Requirements
  • Lift up to 50 lbs and work in industrial environments
  • Ability to stand, bend, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
