Key Responsibilities:
- Machine Operation:
- Operate various industrial machines, such as lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and CNC machines.
- Set up and adjust machines according to specifications and production requirements.
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal output.
- Inspect and maintain machine parts to prevent breakdowns and ensure safety.
- Millwright Duties:
- Install, dismantle, and reassemble heavy machinery and equipment.
- Align and calibrate machinery to precise tolerances.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical components of machinery.
- Fabricate and repair machine parts using welding, cutting, and other metalworking techniques.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Safety and Maintenance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubrication, cleaning, and inspection.
- Identify and report potential safety hazards and equipment malfunctions.
- Contribute to a safe and efficient work environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in using various hand and power tools.
