Machine Operator I
Job Summary:
The Machine Operator I is responsible for operating and maintaining a single piece of manufacturing equipment with basic functions. This role ensures the equipment runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently, supporting consistent product quality and production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate one piece of manufacturing equipment with basic functionality.
  • Set up and pre-run equipment to ensure proper start-up for production.
  • Monitor and control line speed, production rate, batch formulas, and overall equipment performance.
  • Start and stop equipment as needed, maintaining a focus on product quality, appearance, and safety.
  • Perform routine quality checks to ensure compliance with product standards.
  • Complete all required documentation accurately, including downtime logs, HACCP forms, and other production records using tools like SAP and following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
  • Represent and promote the company’s mission, values, code of ethics, and standards of conduct at all times.
  • Support a positive and respectful work environment. (If applicable, ensure team members do the same.)
 
Qualifications:
  • Experience: 0–1 year of related manufacturing or machine operation experience.
  • Skills & Abilities:
    • Ability to safely operate equipment with minimal supervision.
    • Capable of achieving production goals and meeting product specifications.
    • Preferred: Strong communication and reasoning skills to effectively share information with coworkers and leadership.
