The candidate will train on 1st shift (anywhere from 3-6 months), then transition to either a split shift or 2nd shift once up to speed. Needs to be a mechanically inclined individual. I always say anyone who’s familiar with working on small engines can have the troubleshooting ability to work on our machines. Definitely does not need to have direct mail experience, but is a plus. Pay is $18-$20 depending on experience.
- Production Mechanic - setup/operator (2nd Shift)
The Mechanic- Set-up Operator is responsible for set-up, maintenance and repairing production equipment as needed.
• Set-up equipment for daily production runs.
• Adjust equipment to product quality finished products.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment as needed.
• Clear machine jams as needed.
• Follow safety procedures.
• Diagnose and solve problems with equipment.
• Set controls on equipment to position settings in relation to each specific feed, speed, and print type.
• Observe equipment during production to diagnose problems with equipment.
