Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Manchester, NH
Hourly Rate: $28-$30.00/hour (depending on experience)
Type: 6-Month Temp-to-Permanent
Schedule: 1st shift: 7am-3:30pm.
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support production and facility operations by maintaining the condition, functionality, and safety of manufacturing equipment. This is a hands-on role requiring a self-sufficient technician capable of performing preventive and reactive maintenance in a regulated manufacturing environment. The position works closely with production, engineering, and facilities teams to ensure equipment uptime and operational efficiency.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform and document scheduled preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment using established procedures and controlled databases
  • Troubleshoot, service, install, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical documentation
  • Respond to emergency and unscheduled equipment repairs to minimize downtime
  • Inspect work areas and equipment to ensure compliance with company, state, and federal safety regulations
  • Maintain clean, safe, and orderly work areas at all times
  • Participate in 5S and continuous improvement initiatives as part of a cross-functional team
  • Communicate effectively with multiple departments regarding maintenance activities and equipment status
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience installing or maintaining manufacturing equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to quickly learn, understand, and diagnose equipment issues
  • Experience working in regulated or controlled manufacturing environments
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced production environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience working in a cleanroom or controlled environment
  • Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement programs
