- Support ongoing manufacturing processes under general supervision to ensure smooth and efficient assembly operations.
- Identify, define, and resolve major manufacturing and assembly issues; implement corrective actions as needed.
- Analyze and identify imperfections in manufacturing processes, including design, materials, equipment, and personnel.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with multiple departments to develop and implement corrective actions.
- Establish new manufacturing procedures and techniques as required.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date manufacturing process documentation aligned with product engineering specifications and manufacturing capabilities.
- Estimate costs for new process techniques and designs in support of cost-reduction initiatives.
- Coordinate implementation of new processes and cost-reduction plans across departments.
- Prepare, implement, and oversee layout, tooling, product flow, and related engineering functions to transition new products from blueprint to production.
- Develop capital equipment justifications and assist leadership with status reporting for each product model.
- Ensure process design improvements align with ongoing assembly procedures across Manufacturing, Industrial, and Design Engineering teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent job experience.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or production engineering role.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency with CAD and engineering tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with quality control standards and safety regulations.
- Experience with process automation and robotics is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
