Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Loading and unloading of tractor trailers
  • Maintain overall housekeeping of the plant
  • Delivering and removing of materials from production areas
  • Issuing materials to lettershop machines
  • Returning and receiving material back in from Lettershop machines
  • Following all inventory control procedures
  • Administer proper paperwork for all procedures
  • Follow all safety policies during shift activities
  • Communicate with Warehouse Supervisor and/or 2nd Shift Production Supervisor regarding material issues and general inventory issues
  • Operate Clamp Truck
  • Operate Fork truck
  • Operate Electric Pallet Jack
  • Operate stretch wrap machine, strappers, scales, and general material handling equipment
  • Understand inventory process to determine the number of materials needed and timing of delivery
  • All other duties as assigned
