Job Description

In this Temp to hire role, you will be responsible for receiving, stocking, storing, picking, palletizing, wrapping, and staging both raw materials and finished goods in an organized manner as directed. This includes handling customer orders, purchase orders, and returns. You will collaborate with coworkers to facilitate efficient and timely transfers, ensuring the proper movement of materials to and from manufacturing and distribution facilities as per company instructions.

Essential Functions:

  • Verify counts and weights immediately using the RF system when offloading or loading materials.
  • Operate Forklift and Pallet Jack
  • Identify materials with the RF system and label individual bags upon arrival at the dock or warehouse.
  • Inspect trucks before loading or unloading materials from 3rd Party and company trucks.
  • Complete inspection forms and daily driver logs for each order and transfer.
  • Use an RF gun to manage inventory allocation and location movement.
  • Pick orders using lot dates.
  • Follow protocols for storage and labeling when handling allergens.
  • Prepare, scan, and stage pallets for production areas.
  • Put away and correctly locate all incoming raw materials using an RF gun.
  • Accurately maintain and organize resting inventories.
  • Perform daily pre- and post-inspections for power industrial vehicles and report any issues.

Job Requirements

A successful candidate will be looking for a temp to hire role, have a previous Forklift Certification, 1+ plus year of industry experience, comfortable with basic math and conversion from metric to standard measurements, strong attention to detail and great communication with colleagues, comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, stretching and bending for the duration of the shift.
