Micro Deburring
Job Description
- Perform precision deburring under a microscope using small handheld tools to remove burrs and imperfections while maintaining critical part features and dimensions.
- Inspect parts for defects or damage before, during, and after deburring to ensure conformance to quality standards and prevent scrap.
- Handle components with extreme care to avoid surface damage, contamination, or dimensional impact that could result in rejected product.
- Follow work instructions, process documentation, and (when applicable) blueprints to ensure accuracy and repeatability of finished parts.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation to support efficiency, product protection, and a safe work environment.
- Communicate quality concerns or process issues to supervision to ensure timely resolution and continuous improvement.
- High school diploma or equivalent perferred.
- Experience using microscopes in a manufacturing or technical environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with small, delicate components
- Ability to sit for extended periods (up to 10 hours) and focus through a microscope for long durations
- Ability to lift up to 10 lbs
- Basic Computer Skills
