Job Description

Job Title: Bakery Packer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Packer to join our bakery production team. This role is responsible for packaging baked goods accurately and efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and product quality.

Responsibilities

  • Package baked goods according to production standards
  • Label, seal, and prepare products for shipment or distribution
  • Inspect products for quality and freshness before packaging
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace procedures
  • Assist with inventory and restocking packaging supplies
  • Work closely with bakery and production teams
  • Meet daily productivity and accuracy goals

Qualifications

  • Previous packing, warehouse, food production, or bakery experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30–50 lbs
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Team player with good communication skills

Preferred Skills

  • Food handling or manufacturing experience
  • Familiarity with packaging and labeling processes
  • Production or warehouse experience
