Job Title: Pallet Builder / Forklift Operator
Location: Holyoke, MA
Pay Rate: $18/hr to $20/hr
Job Type: Full-Time, 1st Shift 8am to 4:30pm
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Pallet Builder / Forklift Operator to join our team in Holyoke, MA. This role is responsible for constructing pallets, handling materials, and safely operating a forklift to load and unload trucks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Build and repair wooden pallets using hand and power tools
  • Operate a forklift to move materials and load/unload trucks
  • Stack, organize, and stage pallets for shipment
  • Inspect pallets for quality and structural integrity
  • Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications
  • Previous forklift experience required (certification preferred)
  • Experience with pallet building or general labor is a plus
  • Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs regularly
  • Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods
  • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
  • Strong attention to detail and work ethic
  • Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
Work Environment
  • Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures
  • Physically demanding role involving lifting, bending, and standing
  • Fast-paced, team-oriented environment
