The Parts Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all components and parts meet quality standards and specifications. This role involves examining, testing, and evaluating parts for defects, measuring dimensions, and maintaining documentation related to inspections. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of quality control processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visual Inspection: Examine parts for physical defects, such as scratches, dents, or irregularities.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations during inspections.
- Reporting: Report any non-conformances to management and participate in root cause analysis.
- Collaboration: Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in inspection processes and suggest enhancements.
Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience in quality control or inspection in a manufacturing environment preferred.
