Payroll Specialist
Job Description
We’re seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage our bi-weekly payroll and support key accounting activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing & Reconciliation: Accurately process bi-weekly payroll, ensuring all employee hours, taxes, benefits, and deductions are correctly accounted for.
- Audits & Adjustments: Audit payroll reports, manage payroll code adjustments with ADP, and assist in quarterly tax adjustments.
- Compliance & Updates: Stay informed of payroll regulations, update SOPs, and maintain payroll accuracy and compliance.
- Year-End & Reporting Support: Lead year-end payroll tasks, prepare W-2s, and support audit documentation for payroll and benefits.
- Liaison & Communication: Work with supervisors on payroll discrepancies and provide back-up support for purchasing.
Job Requirements
- Associate's degree in business or HR (Bachelor’s preferred).
- 3-5 years of payroll experience, including 3 years with ADP or similar systems.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Epicor preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and effective communication skills.
