Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to support daily operations and provide excellent patient service. In this role, you will maintain patient records, assist with prescription processing, and handle routine coverage and pricing inquiries while collaborating with pharmacy teams to ensure timely, compliant care.  This is a 6 week contract role.  Monday - Friday 8 am to 5 pm.  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate patient profiles (demographics, insurance, medications)
  • Support prescription processing, data entry, filling, shipping, and inventory
  • Respond to routine inquiries on coverage, pricing, and services
  • Communicate with care teams through the electronic medical record
  • Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Active state pharmacy license (or ability to obtain within 14 days)
  • National certification preferred
  • Prior pharmacy/medical experience preferred
  • Strong communication, computer, and multitasking skills
