Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Powder Coat Operator to join our dynamic team. If you are passionate about quality and have experience in powder coating, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary.
  • Operate powder coating spray guns to apply even and consistent coatings to various products.
  • Monitor and control oven temperatures and curing times to ensure optimal results.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance on powder coating equipment to ensure proper operation.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and maintain high quality.

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years experience as a powdercoat applicator
  • Powder application in a production environment
  • Understanding of MIL thickness
  • Experience with thickness inspection tools
  • Experience with many colors, types and textures of powder
