Assess/improve the quality of Customer, Pricing and/or Product Master data through the establishment and implementation of best in class master data management principles

• Oversee procedure development for the creation and maintenance of master data.  Conduct analyses to identify master data records that are not adherent to established business rules and best practices.  Develop plan to clean or correct identified data in source and otherwise impacted systems through sustainable infrastructure, automation and/or continuous improvement.  Work with IT department to develop business and data rule adhesion routines to be executed before data is committed to a source/database.
• Participate as a subject matter expert on projects and/or own project responsibility for the department.  Develop functional requirements as an input to application design.
• Develop permanent solutions for data processing issues.
• Oversee development and documentation of system requirements, business processes, application configurations, test plans and end-user documentation to ensure shared understanding and to facilitate knowledge transfer
• Oversee testing, troubleshooting software upgrades as necessary.
• Working with key stakeholders, develop and implement strategies to improve process efficiencies and thus improving the satisfaction of external and internal customers.  Identify and implement streamline opportunities on Master Data inputs and input processes (price, customer, material, text or competitor management).
• Develop and implement master data and data quality standards and processes

• Bachelors Degree in business or related field or 8-10 years of experience in a similar role required
• Advanced knowledge of primary system tools, including but not limited to SAP/CRM, Compass (Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite.  Lotus Notes database experience a plus.  Advanced knowledge of Excel or similar tool required.
• Experience with data quality analysis.
• Solid understanding of global business and related processes, with a special focus on the Sales and Marketing areas.
• Exceptional critical thinking, problem solving and data analysis skills.  Ability to think strategically and employ outside the box approaches.
• Flexibility to respond to unanticipated situations, able to manage multiple demands and establish priorities, particularly under a deadline
• Excellent analytical skills and demonstrated ability to effectively troubleshoot and provide master data strategies and solutions.
