Job Description

Position Summary:
 The Production Area Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and supervision of a designated area in production driving efficient results. Responsible for the Safety and Quality of designated area and team assigned.
 Job Responsibilities
Supervise production team
Responsible for continuous improvement to Quality and Food Safety
Responsible for managing GMP throughout the floor
Maintain and uphold finished product specifications
Assist in product traceback and recalls
Communicate with other departments to maintain an efficient and productive line of cooperation
Report employee absences, accidents, rule infractions 
Report all mechanical issues to maintenance
Responsible for team meeting efficiency standards
Monitor and reduce overtime and labor costs
Training of new staff
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Assist in controlling waste 
Meet all established standards
Follow company policies and procedures
Meet attendance requirements
Follow and enforce GMP and PPE procedures
Follow and enforce all safety rules and regulations
