Job Title: Production Assembler
Location: South Plainfield, NJ
Employment Type: Temp-to-Perm
Pay Rate: $21/hour (based on interview and experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Overtime may be available

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Production Assembler for a client in South Plainfield, NJ. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity with room for growth based on skill level and performance.

Responsibilities
  • Perform mechanical assembly of traffic-related equipment
  • Assemble components, sub-assemblies, and hardware parts
  • Follow assembly instructions, blueprints, and work orders
  • Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Operate a forklift as required
Skill Levels & Advancement
  • Multiple assembler levels are available, each with increasing skill requirements and independence
  • Candidates will be hired at a level that matches their current experience
  • Opportunities to advance to higher assembler levels
  • Candidates with electrical and computer skills may advance to Assembly Technician roles
Requirements
  • Prior mechanical assembly experience preferred
  • Forklift experience required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to meet production standards and deadlines
