Job Description

Responsibilities:
Select the proper jars, sleeves, and lids for each job batch.
Ensure all labels are centered and that top labels are secured.
Ensure paperwork matches job batch and labels used to complete order.
Follow all process protocols.
Correctly fill out production slips in a timely manner, ensure slips are completed accurately.
Calibrate weighing scales for each job batch; ensure the scale has the capacity to measure the final jar weight.
Machine work – monitor and maintain the good working order of the machine, and its hoppers and droppers, to ensure jars are filled correctly and efficiently.
Be able to assist in other departments when needed
Other duties as assigned

Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of basic math; accuracy in counts.
Must be responsible, reliable and take ownership of assigned duties.
Ability to take initiative and organize their own work independently.
Able to maintain a clean and orderly workstation.
Able to perform detailed work with speed and accuracy.
Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing.
Possess organization, time management and mathematical skills.
Dependable and reliable. Attendance is an essential function of this position.
Ability to follow company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and workplace ethic.

Education and Experience:
Min. of 1 year manufacturing experience.
High School Diploma.
