Job Description

The Production Control Specialist will manage the entire order lifecycle, ensuring seamless coordination between sales, operations, and logistics. This role is pivotal in maintaining accurate inventory, optimizing production processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in order management, inventory control, and cross-functional collaboration, with a passion for innovation and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Lifecycle Management:

    • Oversee tracking, receiving, inventory movements, and coordination with operations teams to ensure timely shipping.
    • Liaise with sales and operational teams to resolve issues and ensure the successful outcome of all orders.
    • Manage digital inventory to maintain accurate stock levels.
    • Handle all customer returns and vendor RMAs.
  • Production Control & Capacity Planning:

    • Optimize production control processes through effective capacity planning and workflow management.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational workflows and processes.
  • Compliance & Additional Duties:

    • Adhere to company policies and procedures to maintain compliance and operational integrity.
    • Perform additional duties as requested to support departmental objectives.

Job Requirements

  • Communication & Collaboration:

    • Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams.

    • Display exceptional verbal and written communication skills for clear and concise interactions.
  • Technical Proficiency:

    • Exhibit advanced proficiency with internal tools, workflows, and processes.
    • Apply working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and CRM tools such as Tigerpaw (if applicable).
  • Experience & Skills:

    • Utilize 2-5 years of experience in inside sales, sales operations, inventory management, or order management.
    • Demonstrate adaptability to manage changing priorities and multiple tasks simultaneously in a demanding environment.
    • Embrace technology and innovation with enthusiasm, maintaining a passion for work.
  • Time Management & Problem-Solving:

    • Manage multitasking effectively, including processing a high volume of emails and tasks.
    • Demonstrate strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Utilize analytical and critical thinking skills to recognize changes needed and solve problems effectively.
  • Professionalism & Teamwork:

    • Work proficiently in an office environment, adhering to professional standards and practices.
    • Demonstrate self-motivation, high energy, and enthusiasm to drive positive outcomes.
    • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, exhibiting strong teamwork.


  • Associate degree in Business Administration or a high school diploma with relevant experience in Production Control, Order Administration, Procurement, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Communication, Receiving, or Inventory Management.
