Production Manager
Job Description
This role oversees daily operations and leads a large team. The ideal candidate is an experienced production leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, knows how to develop people, and can drive performance through accountability and process improvement. Embroidery experience is a plus—but not required.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 25–30 employees, including a supervisor and two team leads
- Create and maintain a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
- Ensure production goals, quality standards, and on-time delivery metrics are consistently achieved
- Manage workflow, staffing, and scheduling to maximize efficiency and throughput
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste
- Address performance concerns, set clear expectations, provide coaching, and take corrective action when needed
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and operational compliance
- Partner cross-functionally with planning, quality, and maintenance teams
- Track and analyze KPIs to drive data-informed decisions
- Support onboarding and training to build a strong, sustainable workforce
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- 2+ years of leadership experience managing teams (including supervisors or leads preferred)
- Proven ability to motivate teams and drive results in a high-volume setting
- Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset
- Experience managing production schedules, workflow, and performance metrics
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to hold teams accountable while maintaining engagement and morale
- Embroidery or textile experience is a plus, but not required
- Hands-on leader who is comfortable on the production floor
- Organized, decisive, and results-driven
- Experience managing multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Strong focus on efficiency, quality, and team development
- Fast-paced production facility
- Frequent time spent on the production floor, standing and engaging with team members.
