Production Support Associate
Job Description
- Maintain equipment and facilities to meet safety and quality standards.
- Use cleaning systems such as CIP (Clean-in-Place) and COP (Clean-Out-of-Place), ensuring safe and correct use of chemicals.
- Disassemble and reassemble equipment as part of the cleaning process — gaining hands-on mechanical knowledge.
- Perform inspections and testing to confirm all areas meet requirements before production starts.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and comply with food safety and OSHA regulations.
- Assist with safety checks, pest control, and team training.
- Accurately document tasks and maintain compliance records.
- Adapt to different environments — cold, hot, wet, dry, and noisy — with the support of your team.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred, not required).
- Experience in food production, manufacturing, or a similar environment (1+ year preferred).
- Comfortable with physical work and hands-on tasks.
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to safety.
- Able to follow directions, ask questions, and work independently when needed.
- Basic math, reading, and writing skills for forms and instructions.
- Familiar with safe handling of chemicals, or willing to learn.
