Supply Chain Manager
Job Description
Pay Rate: $49 per hour
Schedule: 9-hour workday, standard business hours
Team Size: Small team environment (4 total, including contractor)
- Lead small business compliance efforts in accordance with FAR Part 19 and FAR 52.219-9 requirements.
- Develop and write compliant, high-quality Small Business Subcontracting Plans to support proposal efforts and new contract awards.
- Conduct outreach and relationship-building with small, minority-owned, woman-owned, veteran-owned, and other diverse businesses.
- Participate in trade fairs, industry conferences, and networking events to identify potential suppliers and strengthen the supplier base.
- Collaborate with internal procurement and contracts teams to ensure alignment of small business goals with corporate objectives.
- Maintain accurate small business compliance records using systems such as eSRS, ISR, and SSR reporting tools.
- Generate, analyze, and present data-driven reports and dashboards using Excel and PowerPoint to track performance metrics and compliance results.
- Communicate effectively across divisions and with external partners, including government agencies and other industry SBLOs.
- Support audits, assessments, and proposal activities by providing documentation and compliance evidence as required.
- Develop and execute short-term and long-term strategic plans for small business engagement.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Minimum of 6 years of applicable experience in supply chain management, procurement, or contract administration.
- Working knowledge of FAR small business regulations and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated data analysis and reporting skills, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience managing or supporting subcontracting, supplier diversity, or small business programs.
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills; able to communicate clearly with executives and external partners.
- Highly organized with the ability to set priorities, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a Security Clearance.
- Direct experience in a Small Business Office or as an SBLO supporting government contracts.
- Familiarity with eSRS reporting systems and federal compliance tracking.
- Background in small business operations, subcontracting, or procurement strategy.
- Ability to travel for supplier engagement and industry outreach events.
