Pay Rate: $50/hour (Do Not Exceed)

We’re seeking a highly organized and detail-driven Export Compliance Coordinator (ECC) to join our remote Global Trade team! In this key role, you’ll help ensure compliance with all U.S. export and import regulations while supporting international growth and business operations. Working closely with the Empowered Official (EO) and Global Trade Group (GTG), you’ll play a vital role in maintaining compliance, preparing export documentation, and supporting audits, investigations, and training efforts.
- Determine and apply U.S. Government requirements for export/import activities to ensure compliance with trade regulations.
- Prepare and process export shipment documentation using EASE for all hardware exports.
- Draft and submit export license applications, agreements, and correspondence to GTG for corporate and government review.
- Ensure compliance with approved export licenses, agreements, and provisos.
- Support investigations and disclosures of potential export/import violations, coordinating with EO, Legal Counsel, and Segment Trade Directors.
- Conduct and support internal audits and export compliance self-assessments.
- Provide export/import and ITAR training to internal teams per corporate policy.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, brokers, and carriers to ensure compliant shipping processes.
- Oversee export of technical data via email, internet, or electronic transfer in accordance with U.S. Government laws.
- Review visitor and foreign travel requests for export compliance considerations.
- Maintain accurate compliance records, and stay current on regulatory updates through required training and conferences.
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Associate’s Degree + 6 years, or relevant experience in lieu of degree).
- Working knowledge of U.S. trade regulations (ITAR and EAR) and export compliance processes.
- Experience with EASE, TeamCenter, or similar systems (preferred) — or ability to learn quickly.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to interface effectively across all levels of the organization.
- High integrity, discretion, and attention to detail in handling sensitive information.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Adobe, and web-based systems.
- Prior experience in a trade compliance or aerospace/defense environment.
- Familiarity with Global Trade Group (GTG) or similar corporate compliance structures.
- Completion of GTG Practitioner Training Suite (or willingness to complete within 6 months).
